  • The Scottish Storytelling Centre 43-45 High Street Edinburgh, Scotland, EH1 1SR United Kingdom (map)

Loud Poets is back for our fourth run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe! You can find us at the Scottish Storytelling Centre at 9pm from August 4-28 (not 14 & 21). Tickets and more information here:…/…/loud-poets #IAmLoud

This is fist-thumping, pint-drinking, side-tickling, heart-wrenching poetry. This is the spoken word revolution! Over the last three years, the award-winning Loud Poets have cemented their place as the top spoken word show at the Fringe. Their unique blend of poetry, live music and film has wowed audiences at Fringe Festivals including Edinburgh, Brighton and Prague and they return this year with a brand-new show filled with comedy, tragedy, politics and poignancy.

“Loud Poets give me a reason to live.” (Phil Jupitus)

“Throughout, there’s a humour, poignancy and most of all a confidence which serves to inspire.” (Scotsman)

“The loudness doesn’t always come from the volume of their voices . . . sometimes it comes from the heavy machinery they use to dig up their own hearts . . . to lay foundations for their monuments of compassion and other social medicine. Go listen to Loud Poets and hear them say the things you’ve been trying to say to yourself.” (Shane Koyczan)

“If you haven’t heard of The Loud Poets you’ve got to check them out. They’re a collection of incredible artists. [...] they’re such an inspiring and welcoming collective - and they put together incredible events. I could talk for hours about each and every one of them and how talented they all are.” (Mark Grist)
