I Am Loud cic

Jack performs behind (and takes photos for) spoken word giants, Loud Poets (I Am Loud CIC). Since 2015 they have extensively toured the U.K, Prague, and celebrated multiple successful fringe runs at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, including 5x 5-Star reviews at 2025 Fringe.

Since then Jack has performed and collaborated with hundreds of poets, often with nothing more than a 3 word prompt.

In 2026 Jack produced and released a definitive album of Loud Poets’ 2025 touring Fringe show, dubbed ‘The Loud Poets’. Some favourite collaborations include Joelle Taylor, Bohdan Piasecki, Mars O’Shea, Katie Ailes, and Miss Yankey.

Loud Poets perform regular nights in Edinburgh, Glasgow & Aberdeen, and tour further across the UK. Tickets available here.

Loud Poets presents: The Loud Poets


Our Kevin Mclean, Dr. Katie Ailes, Mark Gallie, and Jack Hinks have been hard at work on our first studio album bringing you their signature fist-thumping, heart-wrenching, side-tickling poetry like you’ve never heard it before.

With poetry written and performed by Kevin, Katie, and Mark, and musical accompaniment by Loud Poets’ resident musician, Jack. The team has created eleven tracks for you to experience at home, on the way to work, or wherever you want to listen to the Loud Poets.

Jack composed and produced the album, as well as audio engineering, graphic design, and compiling a listening guide booklet with transcripts, behind the scenes photos & production notes.
